Everything was behind a surge protector, and almost everything survived, but not elijah. Hopefully my renter’s insurance will replace it?

However, that is only small consolation, as my cable internet modem also fried and upon calling Time Warner this morning I found I will be without internet in my home until at least Friday. That’s an entire week! I may die. Probably won’t be many more posts this week!
