To read a newspaper is to refrain from reading something worthwhile. The first discipline of education must therefore be to refuse resolutely to feed the mind with canned chatter.
He was right… but nowdays, the newspapers are failing due to their failure to adapt to the ubiquity of the internet… but I’m sure Aleister Crowley would say the same about ninety-nine percent of the 3.6 zetabytes of data consumed daily in the United States: “canned chatter” at best.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
Can anyone say financial crisis? Who builds an economy on credit, anyway? Oh, wait….
