So, we’re the ones who, with an incredible sense of timing, scheduled a major kitchen renovation right before the coronavirus pandemic hit. Here we are, first-time homeowners for a couple of years, ready to replace the cabinets which are falling off the walls. And now we’re trapped here with the kids and no kitchen.
I’m washing the dishes after dinner tonight in a comically tiny bathroom sink. All I can think of is how thankful I am to have running water. And electricity. And heat, when it’s been chilly lately.
Thank you, LORD.
